Vending machines and kiosks combine electronics, power supplies, displays and sometimes refrigeration modules in a confined enclosure. The cooling fan must protect uptime without creating unnecessary noise in public spaces.
Where This Cooling Requirement Appears
This requirement appears in payment terminals, outdoor kiosks, ticketing machines, smart lockers, vending machines and display-based equipment. Airflow must move heat out of the enclosure while resisting dust and repeated daily operation.
Fan Selection Points
Choose DC axial fans for compact electronics airflow, blower fans for ducted paths and AC or EC fans for larger cabinet ventilation. Confirm noise target, cable length, connector, filter restriction and service access before sampling.

What enclosure data should be included in a vending-machine fan RFQ?
Provide the internal heat load, inlet and outlet location, available fan envelope, filter or grille resistance, ambient range and the desired airflow direction. Photographs or a simple airflow sketch help avoid mismatched assumptions.
Should procurement request airflow or static pressure?
Request both. Free-air airflow alone does not describe performance after filters, vents and internal components add resistance. The operating point should be reviewed against the system restriction.
Which electrical details prevent sample delays?
State the nominal voltage, allowable current, wire length, connector and pinout, plus any PWM, FG or RD signal requirement. Confirm polarity and mating connector before samples are released.
