Custom Cooling Fans for OEM Projects

Bring your cooling fan’s mounting envelope, supply, connector and control requirements to SXDOOL for an OEM configuration review. Start with an existing fan platform, then identify the cable, pinout, signal and identification details your equipment needs. Availability must be confirmed for the exact model; a shared frame size does not establish compatibility.

Configuration Details to Review

Separate required features from preferences. The following items are review inputs, not options guaranteed on every fan. Confirm the proposed configuration and document revision before approving a sample.

Electrical

Voltage, speed, current target, PWM, FG, RD and protection behavior.

Mechanical

Frame size, thickness, mounting, bearing, cable length and connector.

Application

Noise, airflow, static pressure, temperature, IP rating and duty cycle.

Branding

Label, packaging, export carton and repeat-order identification.

Custom Start Options

Use the route that matches your project stage.

Project stage Best route SXDOOL support
Early prototype Sample or small pilot Review size, voltage and airflow fit.
Validation Small-batch custom run Confirm connector, cable and label details.
Production Batch order Coordinate QC, packing and repeat delivery.

Custom Fan Workflow

Keep the buying path short: confirm the key input, choose the product family, then send a clean RFQ.

1. BriefSend existing fan data, drawing or target parameters.
2. MatchChoose existing platform or custom sample route.
3. ValidateTest sample, noise, airflow and installation fit.
4. ScaleMove into pilot or stable batch production.

Quick Answers

Connector, control-interface and revision checks for a custom fan RFQ.

What should I provide for a custom fan connector?

Provide the connector manufacturer and part number, mating connector, pin assignment, cable length and wire requirements. Include a drawing or clear reference image when available. Connector shape and wire color alone do not establish electrical compatibility.

Are PWM, FG and RD or RDB signals interchangeable?

No. PWM is a speed-control input; FG is speed feedback; RD or RDB identifies an alarm function on applicable models. Confirm the exact model's pinout, electrical levels and signal behavior with the controller specification. Do not infer the interface from the number or color of wires.

Does the same fan frame size mean a drop-in replacement?

No. Compare mounting details, installation depth, supply range, running and startup current, airflow at system pressure, connector and control interface. Use the applicable drawing and specification, then validate the sample in the equipment before approving a replacement.

What should be fixed before a repeat order?

Record the approved model and configuration, specification revision, connector and pinout, cable length, control or alarm behavior, and label identification. Reference that agreed configuration in the purchase request. Confirm any proposed substitution or revision before the next order.

Start A Custom Fan Review

Send the application, existing model or drawing, supply range, mounting envelope, airflow at the required system pressure, connector part number and pinout, cable length, control or alarm interface, and quantity. Identify the required document revision and any qualification tests. Sample availability, MOQ and delivery terms require project-specific confirmation.
